Now that I have the hot tub I need to make a place for it. Next the house in the back yard is a nice place to place the spa. After talking to the concrete company they recommended that I have at least 5" of concrete. I Decided to have 6-7" with a base of 6-7" of gravel.
Vincent and I proceeded to hand dig a 9' x 9' square 12-14" deep. No problem took us about an hour and good news I had plenty of dirt for other projects.
Now that the hole was dug it is time for the fill of gravel. I borrowed a gas powered compactor and packed it down.
